Bloodshed on the Big Screen

Horror movies have been a constant in my life for the better part of twenty-five years.  Motivational as well as inpirational, horror flicks tend to cover all the bases.  From the absolutely terrifying, to the campy and downright comical, horriffic slasher films and gory exploitation romps have always been entertaining to me.  When I first start watching anything from this genre, it's easy to tell if the movie is going for a realistic approach or throwing all logic to the wind.  Most of the time, my favorites tend to be the latter.  The more supernatural, over-the-top, gory, and/or ridiculous the better.  To me it makes everything a little bit cooler if there aren't really any rules or boundries that the flick needs to play by.  Humor and horror is like an oreo cookie, this isn't always the case, but, more often than not, that's what gets me.  I don't necessarily have to be scared, as long as the ideas are crazy or original enough to keep me entertained, and it doesn't feel gratuitous or like I've seen it a thousand times before...I'm a happy camper.
On that note, these films are some of my favorite (and most entertaining) horror movies (not all are masterpieces) that I can watch over and over again in no particular order, enjoy.
